Looks like he had good numbers in the fall and all last year in JuCo as a Catcher.
Is he hurt? The fact that he hasn’t even played in some of these meaningless games is just confusing to me. Hernandez is certainly your starter, but him not even getting any ABs or starting meaningless games when Arrambide struggles is something.

The one or two at bats I’ve seen him have this year makes me kinda glad he isn’t getting in the lineup to be honest.

I’d say that the fact that he is on the team means he has, at the very least, gotten a look

He's had a couple ABs so I don't think he's hurt. Seemed like he had a lot of swing and miss in his few appearances. He can't be any worse than Arrambide at C. My guess is they wanted Arrambide to play as much as possible in nonconference since he has the most upside in hopes that he would turn the corner. That hasn't happened so maybe Priester will start to get some PT here soon
