What's the verdict on DMSO?

Used it back in college on hamstring pulls and things like that and it worked very well. Back then it came only in liquid form and it smelled and tasted horrible. Now they have odorless and in gel form and in a roll-on so it's much more tolerable to use. It definitely works but knowing what I know now about DMSO I would never use again. Use caution.

DMSO in a lab setting is a powerful solvent used to put a lot of organics into solution for testing. Essentially it can pickup chemicals and be used to move them into your body. Just using it can give you a garlic taste in your mouth from very little fumes.
