Anyone watching the new Love is Blind?

I’m a heterosexual male, but for some reason this show hooked me from the first time I saw it because I love the premise. It’s also only 10 episodes and doesn’t drag out like the bachelor and married at first sight, both of which my wife watches
The new season just dropped and it’s in Minneapolis and I have to say I really like this new cast because they are down to earth Midwesterners and very normal.
I was just curious on What you think of some of the women on the show

It’s Netflix’s most popular show.
They get a dozen guys and girls and they meet in pods 1x1 to get to know each other and by the end they have to pick someone blindly. The guys stay in their own house and so do the girls
Then everyone that agreed to be together meet face to face and go on a vacation to Mexico and then come back and have to live together for 6 weeks and decide if they wanna get married.
I like it because it’s not on network TV and there is always drama. It’s always funny when they finally get to see everybody in Mexico and they get to see the people that they didn’t pick in. Someone is always jealous and trying to hook up behind their partners back.

I enjoyed a couple of the seasons and some are meh. Very much like Married at First Sight.
I sped through what’s out now. I get very bored with the pods process. I get it, but the entertainment comes when they actually get together and start the living and adjustment process.

I watched the last one when we had the girl that said she looked like Megan Fox

I agree last two have been weak but this season is legit. It’s in Minneapolis so it’s normal midwest nice people, not freaks from Seattle and Portland and SF.
I agree the pods are the weakest part. The fun starts when they all get to their resort and see all the people they passed on in a bikini

With calling it love is blind, they should have some fat and ugly people on there. That way you could truely see if they love them for their connection not looks. Alll the people on it are above average on looks.

Oh, they've had some non-lookers. A girl last season was pretty hot, but the guy went with the other girl. I'm pretty sure he regretted his decision when he saw her.
Also, the Megan Fox chick. She in no way, shape or form looked like Megan Fox and I 100% believe that's the only reason she was picked.
Now that I think about it, I think it was the same couple. Meaning, the girl that was hot didn't get picked because the other girl said she looked like Megan Fox.

I watched the first episode with my gf last night. Had never really heard of it before. The teacher (I think Lauren) is pretty hot and seems like a sweetheart. My gf likes David. I appreciate that he's honest he's made mistakes and is trying to be better.

This season seems to gave some decent looking girls. Typically, in the past the guys were pretty put together and most women were a cupcake away from tipping the scales over.
Nobody chose her last season… hottest one to ever grace the show. Instead ol’ boy went with the 250lb Megan Fox look alike with insecurities.

I always skip the first episode. All the good stuff comes after the pods tbh when they are real with each other.

Is it just me or is ol’ girl making too much of a deal out of the Instagram crap? Is she just trying to get out?
They’re from the same city, with mutual friends. The fact that someone may have looked at someone’s instagram is not some weirdo move.

When so much of what they base their decision on is the things they have in common, before they meet, I can see where she would think her decision was all based on lies for what he knew about her from social media.
The guy was not prepared to get called out on it and unless it was editing, his answers did not help his cause.
That being said, the whole thing seemed “staged” by the show. Those two were never shown talking to others and then both questioned his height as being an issue prior to the meeting. With heels, she seemed to be the same height as him.

There have been a few big 'uns. The entitled, fat Jewish girl married the twig hick from rural VA, and they not only went through with getting married, but they had a kid about a year ago, IIRC.
