Brand new, female pilot.

Received her certificate in January. I won’t re-post the paperwork here, because it’s got employee numbers on it, but it’s out there.

I alluded to this in a previous thread, but hadn’t seen the paperwork yet. Now confirmed. TIFWIW.

Pretty cocky of her to be trying out for the Blue Angels already.

Does sliding down the runway upside down count on her flight log time?

I hope your sources are good. There is so much misinformation out there It's hard to believe it unless we see it in person.

"Certificate" as in ATP?

Thanks for your skepticism in other thread about the woman I thought it might be. It led me to change my mind.

I mean, technically it was a successful landing. The plane is on the ground and all the passengers lived. Now she can put it on her resume as having successfully posited a crashing airplane to a successful outcome.

They should promote her to VP of pilot training.

The flight paperwork is floating around X, along with a screen shot of the FAA database. Not posting it here & would request others don’t either, but it can be found.

Women have been flying at airlines since 1973. If she wasn't really qualified but rammed through hiring training anyway, then that's a problem. But just being female isn't.

Thanks! I saw that particular girl’s hire date and it didn’t make sense. These Regional FOs, especially ones that check the correct boxes, aren’t staying in that seat for 4 years.

That’s the problem with DEI. We’ll likely never know.

DEI invalidates even the best of the best, and that is why it must be burned to the ground immediately.

Women have been crashing planes disproportionately all the way back to Amelia Earhart

Oh I absolutely agree. But some seem to be implying a plane will crash if any female is at the controls. The over 50 years of data doesn't support that. And I haven't heard confirmation of who who was the pilot handling and who was the pilot monitoring on the accident flight yet.

Was that the chick who became the first female pilot on a carrier unit and then crashed and died?
