LSU has been behind on NIL since the beginning. They thought being first with their NILSU crap would put them in front. Not realizing it was still the Wild West and they were left behind.

NIL didn't exist when we hired Mac. This is why Woody had to fire Wade, he was cheating before NIL. People like to forget that part.

LSU was pretty far behind when NIL first started. Notre Dame was able to start up an NIL collective in a month after BK left. LSU didn't have a collective until a full year after that.

You've got it backward. Why didn't McMahon get NIL guarantees out of Woodward? He got a 7 year contract out of him so he obviously exerted his leverage in the hiring process.
