Of the head coaches hired this offseason

Of the non Ben Johnson coaches I like Coen more because I feel like he had less to work with and built a monster of a running game in addition to getting the absolute most out of baker, but I really like Moore. It’s really splitting hairs and will take a few years to determine.

I think all of the above a bit blown out of proportion. Tampa was pretty bush league with the ultimatum to him. To me you make your offer and wish the OC well in his interview. You don’t say we’ll give you a contract if you don’t take any more inteviees with X team. Seems like not a lot of great up and comers would come to your org if you try and strong arm them.

No idea about the socially awkward. Baker and others have raved about what a great teacher he is so he obviously has the players ear.


Honestly I see a lot of similarities in him and Moore and hope they both have a ton of success.

I believe that if KM had turned us down and stayed in Philly to “wait for a better opportunity” he would immediately be viewed in the same way everyone viewed Ben Johnson this cycle.

I also believe that his stock went up considerably (right or wrong) in the time between when everyone hired their coach and we hired him.

I think the timing worked out really well for us.
