A TRANSFER WON'T WIN THE HEISMAN TROPHY IN 2025.
The Heisman win by Travis Hunter in December marked three consecutive years a transfer prospect had taken home college football's highest honor. Hunter transferred to Colorado from Jackson State two seasons ago. Jayden Daniels, who began his career at Arizona State, turned into a star at LSU during his final season. Caleb Williams famously followed Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma to USC prior to the 2022 season.

Seven of the top nine favorites according to BetMGM are players who signed with their team out of high school. Arch Manning is the betting favorite at this early stage, followed by Garrett Nussmeier, Cade Klubnik, Jeremiah Smith, Drew Allar and Nico Iamaleava. LaNorris Sellers currently has the same odds as Dante Moore and Julian Sayin. If one of those seven do win the Heisman, they’d be the first non-transfer to win the Heisman since Bryce Young in 2021.

I could see any of these guys winning it all, but Drew Allar, no fricking way. He's got a weak-arse arm and will never be an NFL QB.

If the Nuss bus won, LSU would have 3 Heisman winning QBs in 6 season span.

It is almost unfathomable.

Every scouting report I’ve read about him says he has tremendous arm talent with great velocity.

A centre-left prediction piece.

I watched him play in the CFB game and his arm is a noodle, especially for such a big guy. NOW, maybe he was hurt but none of the announcers made mention of it. Also, couldn't throw on-the-run well at all.

Yes he has a cannon, doesn't have great touch/ability to layer the ball but arm strength is his best attribute.

Dude, you're talking out your arse. He has one of, if not the strongest, arm for a top QB in the country. You should not quit your day job and become a scout.
