To think Dallas only got Davis and a 29 first rounder. Presti/OKC GM has built an empire with all his trades of outgoing players.
Then
Traded Russell Westbrook to Rockets
Got:
Chris Paul
1st rounder in 2024
1st rounder 2026
Pick swap in 2021
Pick swap in 2025
Then traded Chris Paul to Suns for a 22 first rounder
Now OKC is loaded with talent and still has so many future picks with other moves Presti has made since the Paul George trade. Currently sitting in 1st place West and SGA is a star.
I cannot fathom why Mavs didn’t get more value out of Luka. Nor get him to the Eastern conference.

Also that was a trade for both Paul and Kawhi so not really comparable
Doing the AD trade to the Lakers would be better

Those 2 trades reset the market, but it's clear the 2nd apron is re-shifting the paradigm. This Luka trade may be precedential
