Newsreader - AMC+

Since I watched Mr. In between (fantastic show,) I probably have an inadvertent amount of Australian content end up in my suggestions on Prime.
Newsreader is based on a prime time TV crew in AUS in the early 80s that’s decently interesting. There is some ghey in E4-E5 so far, but it’s not as distracting as anything that has come out of mainstream American studios lately. It seems believable ghey for the period. The behind the scenes manipulation of talent, people porking each other from the newsroom, etc.
Something to watch if you have run out of shite to do.

Recently watched Territory on Netflix and then read up on the cast. I noticed that 3 or so of them are in Newsreader, which was said to be one of the top rated shows on Aussie TV.
