Loomis was right, everyone was wrong, we are close

We had the redskins beat if Rattler makes that throw in the back of the end zone on the 2pt play. Looked much better than the lions. We are close.

Of course you're just joking but that game really was a head scratcher.
I doubt the Saints got Washington's best effort for four quarters in that one.
I mean they're clearly playing at a different level now.
The Saints did play better at home this year than they have in previous years. I would say the one exception was that Raiders game. That one really was a turd of a performance
Oh, and the Tampa Bay game was horrible as well aside from the second quarter when the Saints actually took the lead.
But it's kind of like you're saying, even though you're joking. If you asked him Loomis would say we're not that far away when we certainly are.
