Treadmill Recs

Looking for a foldable treadmill that I can use as part of trying to outrun my genes and T2 diabetes. I saw previous threads where Nordic track and F80 were reccomended, but the thread went the way of get a rower or get kettle bells.
I currently workout 4-5 times a week on a Tonal, and I need to be able to add walking daily. I work from home, but work doesn't allow me to hit the trace like I could last year. I expect to walk at least an hour a day 5x a week during calls or after meals, as well as continue my Tonal exercise.
Before people jump in and say stop being fat or whatever, weight isn't my problem, it's family history and I am working very hard to not wind up like my Dad on insulin or my Grandpa without a leg.

Your diet and lifestyle matter more than a treadmill.

My diet is low carb, and my lifestyle is working out and trying to push back the inevitable. I want treadmill recs so I can add to my routine and continue to keep my a1c in the normal range on my own.I am well aware of diet, lifesytle, weight and diabetes. I don't need information on those factors.

If you aren't planning on running on it, you don't need an F80 or Nordictrack 1750. Those are both higher end but aimed more at people who will be putting some mileage on them. If I were you I'd see if you could scoop up one for cheap on Facebook marketplace. Especially since the new year just passed, give it a few weeks and you'll see some pop up that were used as a clothes rack. Something from Sole, Nordictrack, Proform or Precor.

When I ran, I used to get hip/knee pain. I bought some zero drop shoes and have not pressed any wearing those yet. Running is a possibility if the shoes help alleviate the issues I was having.
I don't want to underbuy a POS and have it not be able to last. As an example, i did roughly 140 miles a month for several months in a row on the trace last year, but weather and work jacked that up. I plan on doing that much or more every month if I can turn around and walk while on calls at home.

I’ve heard that a lot of people are very happy with Horizon treadmills. And I think the 7.0 is fairly affordable (for a good treadmill)…
I personally have a Peloton Tread and couldn’t recommend it more, but being that you already have a Tonal, I doubt that you’d want another subscription based piece of equipment.
I think DSG has Horizons and Soles on display in store.
