6,500 lbs towing capacity. Should be ok. You pulling up a lot of hills? How heavy is the boat?

It’s never about if a truck can pull something, it’s how that truck will be able to stop. I’d be more worried about does the boat trailer have any kind of brakes?

I'm estimating around 4000 lb and does have trailer brakes

2017 taco, my boat is ~3300lbs + trailer...no trailer brakes. Pulls it decent. Gas mileage gets cut in half but never had any issues otherwise. 4,000 seems heavy for aluminum boat. You'll be fine, esp w/ brakes.

It’s the pulling it up a wet ramp that will get you.

You'll be fine. ECT+S4 and leave room in front of you.
