Big problem with lack of defense

No coincidence we allow them points at the end of each wtr

I agree, we have depth why not use ti

Basically it's Morrow, Johnson, Williams, and Gilbert playing like 30+ minutes

She is going small this game because of the up tempo version of the game. TN is trying to drive the basket and quicker guard play is what is needed. This isn’t her typical rotation but she is adjusting to the flow of the game.

Worried that fatigue is going to cost us this game.

They’re the less physical for sure. It’s so frustrating to watch the slow transitions compared to their bigs moving up and down

It's almost as if she has zero clue what she is doing and in over her head...

Am I doing it right?

Morrow played the entire game except the 45 seconds she had to come out for injury. Against that fast pace that should not happen.

Against this team, that's all we can do. Poa, Wolfenbarger, Smith, Del Rosario...none of them are good enough ball handlers to be in the game against that TN press and the pace of the game, and they aren't fast enough to get up and down the court the way that was played. Hell honestly Mikayla was struggling to get up and down the court but we got nobody else that can out play her. This game was perfect for Flaujae, Gilbert, Morrow as an undersized big who can move a little...so that's who we rolled with.

Because they specifically recruit their whole team for that style of game. That's the point, to catch teams with players like Del Rosario, Smith, Poa, Wolfenbarger, etc that can't play that style of game effectively...it puts you at a disadvantage. There's a reason they were 16-1 with only a loss to #9 Oklahoma by 1, 87-86. They've lost to the current #9 and #6, who will both move up next week, but a combined 3 points That style IS NOT easy to play against

That's not our style, and Mikayla, Flaujae, Gilbert, Morrow just all played damn near the entire game with almost no subs. Day-Wilson, Poa, Sheppard mixed in a little. The others never touched court in 2nd half. And we still won...big testament to those 4 who played all game at that pace and were still going strong and won.

The only problem I have with the rotation is the insistence on Poa. She brings nothing offensively, is turnover prone on offense and really isn't as good on defense as she looks, the charges just make her look good. I've thought Richard has looked better just about every time I've seen her and Miracle is a better defender, honestly, she is our best defensive guard. If she get her offense going, she'd be the starter at the 1.

Great win…. Day-Wilson played really well today and Poa was so disappointing. Williams is so good on the offensive end, but such a liability on defense especially against a team as quick as Tennessee.
Morrow is absolutely incredible and Gilbert is a scoring machine.

When you surpass her in national championships feel free to call her and criticize.
