I don't expect him to get a HC offer, but would find it funny if he did go somewhere else. We would have a track Rizzi success thread after every time he wins, that would go completely off the rails if the Saints also lost that week.

Let’s be honest: how likely is it that Rizzi has the makings to be a great HC?

I am not sure if he'd be a great HC. I don't see his teams quitting on him, but I could see players growing tired of his style. From the little we have seen of him, I think it's obvious he should have been the hire before DA was considered
I really like his passion and approach, but this team failed to make 2nd half adjustments under him. I also like the fact that as a ST coordinator he would not feel the need to be the HC as well as control one side of the ball. He would hire actual coordinators and let them call and run their respective disciplines.
With all of the said, not sure I would want him to be the permanent HC of my team, and if a GM would not want my employment in his hands unless he is a phenomenal interview (which apparently isn't if Loomis picked DA over him a few years ago)

I was thinking it might be for Asst HC and ST coach. The guys from Jersey and a well regarded ST coach.

I wish Rizzi nothing but the best.

Rizzi next head coach for NY Jets. Book it.

I think the guy did an admirable job and deserves a chance.
