I decided to go to both the LSU game vs UNO and the Mcneese game against UNO to see the major differences in the teams. The atmospheres were both very different:
On one hand the LSU game had very low attendance and not many people were into the game.
The Mcneese game had fans pumped up from the start and the attendance, while not very big, was very into the game the entire time. I do believe that there were more fans at the Mcneese game compared to LSU. Both Mcneese and LSU won their games against UNO but overall Mcneese played much better.
Mcneese took the lead early they never trailed for the entire game, meanwhile LSU was down for most of the first half.
Mcneese shot 35% from the three compared to LSUs 24%. Mcneese turned the ball over 6 times and LSU doubled that with 13 turnovers. Overall McNeese is the much better team and this frustrates me for many reasons. For one, the power 5 school should always be better than the low major school but that simply isn’t the case. Another big issue is attendance, there aren’t many LSU fans that are connected with this team anymore, it’s embarrassing but nothing is being done to draw more fans in besides the few giveaways that they decide to have throughout the season. The truth is nobody wants to go watch an inconsistent team, you could argue that mcneese is inconsistent because they are 7-5 and LSU is 10-2 but Mcneese lost to #2 Alabama by 8 points and #24 Mississippi State by 3 points. LSU has yet to play a ranked team and they’ve suffered losses to Pitt and SMU. If McMahon cannot find a solid way to win here, then Woody needs to find someone else who can. This is extremely frustrating for a fan who has been watching the basketball program for the past 20 years and I know there are others out there who agree with me.

What a dumb dumb…DUMB post, also very difficult to read.

LSU played a horrible team right before Christmas, who cares? The fact you drove to McNeese is hilarious

Mcneese has losses to Liberty, South Dakota St, and Santa Clara.
McNeese is not better than LSU. You use turnovers and 3P% as reference points? Ok well, we outrebounded UNO by 13 while mcneese got outrebounded by 3. Why does them losing to 2 ranked teams make them better?

We played on the road at KSU. We are about to play 14 games of Quad 1 or Quad 2…mcneese won’t play another all season. People like you are the problem with the program. McMahon is a good coach! We just lost our best player 3 weeks ago for the season? Did you even know that. People like you drive to go see an old coach coach another team is so weird…move on

You need some new bait.

McNeese's attendance was 3100 and LSU's was 8200. You are a fraud.

Oh brother…it’s pretty obvious to tell that LSU isn’t a good team and that Matt McMahon isn’t a power conference coach. All those McNeese losses are tournament caliber teams btw. LSU is struggling with a bottom tier southland team along with other low majors and McNeese manhandled them…so u explain to me how LSU is better lol. Also Reed isn’t the best player on this team, most important maybe but when everyone is at their best it’s Carter.

Also lol at the whole "McNese had more people in the stands" comment when the LSU/UNO game had more than double (8,278 to 3130) the attendance. LSU also played at 2 p.m. on one of the busiest Sundays of the year in the NFL.

This is just not true

Pitt and SMU are both top 30 NET teams and Pitt is one spot below Alabama and 2 spots ahead of Mississippi St.

LSU has 3 wins against P5 teams. McNese has a nice win against the college of biblical studies and Longwood. The best part of Mcnese's resume is their close losses. That's the difference.

Jalen Reed is the best player on the team. McMahon also lost Ward who'd likely be your best shooter.

A guy who played, by far, the best basketball of his career with McMahon and then left the team last year for personal reasons? Who is now averaging 11/4/2 on 41/36/78 in the WCC?

I don't understand what this message means.

I know you didn’t just say that you moron. I want you to go look at Juice Hill’s stats with LSU. Go look at it right now and come back to me buddy. And he’s not playing basketball anymore he’s playing football. Get it right before you spew your nonsense.

I pointed out the facts. You ACTUALLY think Wade is a better Xs&Os coach? Go look at my posts about supporting Will Wade but I’ve never thought of him as a great X&O coach. He fricked us.

If you’re not trolling and continue to do so, then you’re really that much of a fricking idiot that says Hal Hughes is better than Paul Skenes? LINK

You seem intelligent. Jalen Reed was the best and most impactful player on the team when he got hurt. Cam Carter is playing the best basketball of his life right now and if he maintains his shooting %, he can be a great offensive player. He doesn't bring nearly the same impact on defense.

Reed was dominating and finally seemed to find himself as a player before his injury.

Okay obviously my other posts are trolls but this bothers me too much. If I actually thought that Hal Hughes was better than Skenes I’d want you to kill me.
