For the idiots that think this CR is a loss for Trump, consider the following:

1) he not President yet
2) absent his, Musk's and Vivek's pressure, the original 1500+ page monstrosity would have passed
3) the people meaningfully flexed their muscle for the first time in years
4) the issues of spending, pork and the debt ceiling are now front and center
Would he have preferred the debt ceiling increase? Absolutely.
But this is an absolute win for Trump (especially if Schumer actually scuttles it and causes the shitdown after the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the last 48 hours)

TDS victims will cry about anything. Funny most say they voted for him.

- threatens to primary Republicans who didnt vote for his endorsed 100-page bill #2
- 30 of them did it anyways... then 170 vote for the bill #3 without the debt limit pushback
Why do that all at all?
Trump could have avoided all of this by going through regular channels. Trump knew this bill had pork, and everybody's pet projects for their districts. antagonizing his allies when he can only afford a few defections in the next Congress

Aren't those issues always front and center? Were people unaware of how much money Washington wastes until just recently?

So how is this a win? He wanted debt ceiling eliminated. He didn't even get an increase. And now he will have to deal with this at the beginning of his term, instead of 2027.
The bill was preferred by democrats over Republicans. Bad look for Trump.

Every thread you disagree with
but but but I love Trump reeeeee - jbot
You get so offended that people don't agree with you. You've never even tried to express an actual opinion about anything, just the same crying that your safe space is being ruined.
Maybe if you got a little stronger and braver you could actually engage in the conversation instead of "tantruming".

I’ve voted Trump x3. I’ve donated and bought some of the merch. I don’t feel like it’s necessary to be in agreement with him on every issue. He’s not a Marxist democrat so thank God for that.
A few of his cabinet picks are not great and at least one is really bad in my view. Whatever.
These CR’s are garbage but I already knew Trump wasn’t a fiscally conservative hardliner.
This seems like TDS to you?

I didn’t call you out. There’s no need to tell me how much you support Trump when I wasn’t talking to you. You do seem to have been offended by my post though.
