Hotels in Paris recommendations please

The fam are going to Paris in August for three days and are looking for hotel recommendations. We’re taking our 11yr old daughter to Disney Paris for one day and we’re thinking about staying on property as opposed to downtown. I’ve heard that the Disney properties in Paris aren’t as nice as Orlando, but I have no idea. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I don't have much to add about Paris. We stayed at the Hilton Paris La Defense. It's very close to the metro and made it very easy to hit any sight we wanted to see.
However, Disneyland Paris is not in Paris. We went this summer and (if I recall) it was about an hour train ride. We stayed on property (Hotel New York) and would do it again.
Disneyland Paris is 2 parks but they are pretty small. The best way to describe it is to take Disney Springs in Orlando and set it at the gates of the park. You go thru security to access the retail/restaurant area and then have access to both park entrances. By staying on the grounds you get into the park an hour early. We were able to go to one park at rope drop, hit the top rides, and get into the other park before the gates opened for general admission.
Edit to add more detail:
We spent a full day and 2 half days at Disney Paris (afternoon, full day, morning). We then spent 2 full days and 2 half days exploring Paris from La Defense.

I will respectfully give you my opinion which you may not want to hear.
You live in a state that adjoins Florida. If you want to go to Disney, go to Orlando. If you are going to go through the trouble and expense of going to Europe, concentrate on Paris. If you must go to Disney Paris, I wouldn't spend all three days at a hotel there. Paris is one of the great cities of the world. I would spend as much time as possible soaking in Paris.
Just my two cents. You will have a great trip regardless.

I agree with you. We’re going on a Mediterranean Cruise that leaves out of Barcelona, but are deciding to fly into Paris a few days prior to boarding since we’ve never been there. We really just want our 11yr old to get experience as much as possible with this opportunity. I’ve never been over seas and my wife has only been to England. The Disney idea just seemed like a cool thing to do somewhere other than Orlando.

I have no input on the Disney properties, but was just in Paris in October. Stayed at Hotel Monge in the 5th and liked it a lot. Good hotel with plenty of restaurants within walking distance and 2 Metro lines within a block of the hotel.

If you're only doing Disneyland one day, I'd probably bite the bullet and stay in Paris for all three days. Like others, zero insight on Disneyland Paris / their property accommodations, but we usually stay at Hotel d'Aubusson in the 6th. Great location.

I just came home from bringing and 8 and 6 year old. I agree with what the other posters have said. You could do Disney anytime, don't do it the only time you may be in Paris with your family.
Do the Louvre. Go up the Eiffell Tower. Take a cooking class. Walk through 3 or 4 arrondissements and stop at every cafe, bakery, or restaurant that catches your eye, take her to Versailles, go sit in the gardens and eat lunch. The options are literally endless.
If you want to do something more unique to Paris, and include an amusment park theme, check this out: LINK

Your daughter will get 100x more enjoyment going into every bakery in a three block radius than Disneyworld. Girls are programmed to be in love with Paris by pop culture much earlier than you think.

Please don’t do Disney with that short amount of time there. As the other poster said Paris itself is enough for a girl. Here’s a list of things a daughter would enjoy outside of Disney.

We did a tour on a Tuk Tuk and they’re all highly rated. We used it to drop us off at a different destination from the hotel and took an uber back. There’s one where kids under 12 are free.the vehicle can get you super close to attractions and you can get out and take photos and hop back in. It’s like a ride. You’ll see a lot of the city this way without the confines of a bus or exhausting yourself walking.
Now the bateaux on the Seine don’t have the best food but she would love it.
If you want to do a day trip I would do Versailles; most girls would love to see a real palace. Book a tour for it as lines are crazy long.
