Just curious if the injury looked serious or not

Announcers said “leg”. We’ll know more tomorrow. Just guessing but that means MRI to me.

Knee sprain. MRI tomorrow. Initial test good but MRI will check for ligament damage.

Well, he wouldn’t put any weight on it. Was pointing to the outside of the knee area. Doesn’t look good to me, but I’ve been wrong before.

I was at the game and. He was grabbing the front of his knee. Looked like they were checking his patella, where it attaches to the shin. Couldn’t really tell how he hurt it though…

I tore everything that could be torn in a knee playing in highschool. Hate to see knee injuries. Have a flashback every time I see one. Hope everything turns out ok.

It looked like he tweaked it but he couldn’t put any pressure. Coach said in the post game that it looks like a sprain but more tests will take place tomorrow

He went in for somewhat transition layup (which he made) and seemed to slip on a wet spot and have his leg give out from under up. I agree, he was grabbing the front of his knee. He tried to walk on his own, but couldn’t put any weight on that leg. He was helped to the locker room and never returned to the bench. There seemed to be a lot of concern with staffers and “inactive” players going back and forth to the locker room in the aftermath

On a side note, is it time to have a discussion about the trainers/students who serve as the towel boys? This seems like the 4th or 5th time in the last 5 or so years we’ve seen an LSU player injured because of a wet spot on the court. Some worse than others, but that is the situation that derailed the 21-22 season when Pinson was hurt early in SEC play at a time that team was rolling

Well, that and the whole “let’s fire Will Wade the week before the tournament” thing.
