First off whoever selected these two teams did a horrible job balancing them out. The blue team is very much over matched.

-Davenport was double team much of the game but you can still tell he's a beast and looks physically a man amongst boys. You can still tell he is coming off an injury.

-Ford had one of the best runs I've seen in a while. On his 78 yard touchdown pass reception, he made 2 to 3 nice cuts and ran away until someone caught him but it was too late. He looks great and has a very good burst.

-Kenny Bell was used as a wide out and struggled. He had a fumble which led to a scoop and score. He also dropped a wide open TD pass.

-Singleton is HUGE and will be a very great asset for Tulsa. His pass blocking however is horrible from what I witnessed. Even though, I wish LSU would have offered. He has tree trunks for legs

-The kicker for STM, don't know his name was very impressive. Even with a quarter wind blowing 10-15 with gusts of 20, every kick has flown to the BACK of the endzones and made a 51 yard kick with much room to spare. Don't know where he is going but he is impressive.

Again, I would have stayed to watch more but it was 38 to 7 at half.

Personally, he looks like a college fullback already. I don't blame LSU for not getting him since he wants to play TB.

I can tell you this about the roster, the white team on offense ha Bell, Singelton and Ford on the field at the same time. Kind of unfair.

Is there a special name for the game? Or is just Louisiana High School Football All-Star game?

The Red team, coach by Brent Indest from Kaplan, will feature LSU commitments Michael Ford, wide receiver Kenny Bell from Rayville, linebacker Lamin Barrow from John Ehret and invited walk-on kicker Tyler Listi from STM. Other names of interest to Tiger fans on the Red team are Alex Singleton from East ST John, Darrington Sentimore of Destrehan. The two quarterbacks for the Red team are Blake Matherne from Belle Chase and Barrett Bailey from University high school.

The Blue team is coached by Doug Pederson from Calvary Baptist. The only LSU signee on the Blue team is Chris Davenport and preferred walkon linebacker Seth Fruge from Notre Dame of Crowley. The two quarterbacks for the Blue team are Matt Smith from Haughton and Eric Cutrera from Barbe high school.

closest i got for a roster

Sportsman Paradise high school Bowl. You can tell its the inaugural game. There were still many people that went, I was pleasantly surprised.

actually, according to Sonny Shipp, the coaching staff seems him as a Hester type RB/FB hybrid

That is exactly what I thought of when I saw him in person for the first time. There is no way, in my mind, he'll be able to be an every down back. I see him as a true fullback or a situational back.

Final point I wanted to make but forgot was that I wish Jenkins and Celestie would have been there. I guess Jenkins is still recovering but I would like to know if they asked Celestie are not. The kid has been underrated all year.
