These large deals and wait for the big money schools to swoop in and make a bigger offer at the 11th hour?

Since we know it’s all about money, should LSU just wait til the 11th hour and look around the country at recruits they want, find out what their NIL deal is and go make a bigger offer for the player than their current school. Because this flipping at the end only looks bad on LSU and shows recruits that they aren’t looking to spend

Tiger Droppings should stop letting anyone post, that would be a good start.

They should lie in wait and then check the price of all their targets a week before ESD. Then we can buy the players we can afford and avoid the decommitting embarrassment. Instead of losing half the class, we will be "stealing" a bunch of guys from other classes and we will look good.

Google FLIPPED TODAY. You think this is just happening at LSU then you’re crazy.

Not a bad idea! Lock in some of the local, "sure thing" 3-4 star kids and wait to offer the big fish! If you miss, it's not really a loss/flip, and you can show the kids a lot of love who are committing to LSU for more than just NIL money.

IMHO, LSU should also focus on paying veteran players to stay! Having experienced, upperclassmen like Garrett Nussmeier coming back would be HUGE. I know he didn't have the best year, but you can clearly see his talent and that his teammates love him. If he can clean up a few things, he could have a similar process to success as Joe Burrow (not saying he will be Burrow, just a similar 1st year upperclass starter to 2nd year veteran starter process). Emery Jones, Mason Taylor, Aaron Anderson, Harold Perkins... If all of these experienced guys with remaining eligibility come back, LSU will be fine next year and buy some time to find more talent in the portal and ease some of the portal losses and misses with HS recruits.
