It was NEVER really in the cards.
Our franchise is back to being the Taints. The pathetic leaderless team that existed in New Orleans from 1967 - 1992.
The Mora - Brees era was nice while it lasted (minus the Ditka/Haslett years).
We are light years away from being competitive again. I present Mickey Loomis remaining on as the GM.
To quote Michael Ray Richardson - The ship be sinkin.
