Not sure if this has been posted before. If so, I apologize.

Just curious on how LSU fans view the Huskers. I've been a lifelong Husker fan, but I've been following LSU since the 2000 season.

And I know quite a few Husker fans who also pull for LSU as well.

Hated them forever. Now I'm rooting for them because of Pelini

He's the guy that can lead them back into national contention. He's got a nice little pipeline to Texas, which helps.

I found myself kinda pulling for Nebraska this season 'cause of Pelini.

But I would think most LSU fans love the state of Nebraska because of Omaha and the CWS. So many of our greatest moments have come from that city.

ya'll did represent very well this past year at the CWS. First year I've been down there for it, but I was impressed with the LSU turnout.

School and athletic program with a lot of class. Sad to see Pelini leave LSU, but happy for Nebraska that they got him. The baseball program has come a long way in the last few years as well...its good to see Nebraska fans in Omaha during the CWS

First time we attempted it vs Kansas, it worked out fairly well.

Next time vs Colorado, as the entire nation should know right now, was a disaster.

I lived in Oklahoma city...now I hate OU

Texas is next door to LA so I've always disliked them and all their little sisters (Tec, A&M, etc...)

And Pelini's now at Nebraska, so Geaux Huskers (as long as you're playing vs the Big 12)

Hoping to see maybe a home and away series between LSU/Nebraska at some point in the future. Two of the greatest college football venues/programs/fans etc. It'd be pretty cool.

Always kind of liked Nebraska. Really would like to see them do well with Bo.

Nebraska is a Big XII team that I can pull for, especially with Bo being there now.

Does Nebraska run the option much anymore?

As a child, I hated Nebraska intensely for those 3 bowl losses LSU suffered in the 80's, but I suppose that's passed now. I think it was just the rampant unfairness of having linemen that strong that really bothered me, as well as the color red, which I just don't like. Also, I didn't much like watching the beatdowns of Florida and Tennessee in the mid-90's.

Honestly, though, my father took the most fun road trip of his life to the LSU vs. Nebraska game in 1975 I think, and I heard stories about how the LSU groundscrew soaked the field prior to the 1976 opener in Baton Rouge to help the Tigers to a 6-6 tie against the heavily favored Huskers.

In general, I think Nebraska is set up to win a bunch of Big XII North division titles in the future, and I wish the Huskers the best.

absolutly a true story...heard from an old timer at the Cotton Club in 1988.

Not too much. Joe Ganz didn't make the best decisions when we did.

However, we ran it much more this year than in any year under Callahan.

So I expect to see it more and more as the years go on, esspecially with Cody Green, the dual threat QB we have coming in this semester.

that's why I asked...I could see him running a mean option.

And ya'll may have another Hester in Rex Burkhead
