Just wondering if anyone has watched this yet and if so did it change your mind on who you thought actually did it?

Without a doubt, this. It is a shame that this case will never be solved by the cops. The only way it will come to light as to who did it is probably a deathbed confession type situation.

The ransom note is what throws me off. Who takes the time to write a 3 page note asking for money when the person they killed is laying in the basement. I do think that the Boulder PD f'ed up the investigation beyond imagination. Who doesn't check the basement when searching a house?

The brother always seemed off. Burke, I believe it was. He seemed like he was totally capable of flying off the handle at all the attention that JB got. Add that, plus the possibility of retard strength rage fit and it seems like the parents would've covered for him.
John & Patsy Ramsey were right there in OJ territory, in my book. It's not guaranteed that they did it, but if they didn't, they absolutely knew who did.

Mom or little brother did it.
Regardless, nobody will be brought to justice for it. ...and that's so sad.
The father remains a scumbag.

There was a sexual predator of children operating in that general area around that time. That is who did it.

I don’t think it was the parents. Call me naive but the sadistic way she was killed and SA’d fits with a demented child rapist. The fact that another little girl in JonBenet’s pageant class was almost potentially raped by a home invader is very suspicious and fits with the idea that she was killed by a stalker that had been planning it for a while. Those pageants as we know are honeypots for pedos.
Also the seasoned investigator that came in with fresh eyes and did what Boulder police should have done from the get go. The taser marks on her and the weeds bent under the grating showing that it was lifted to get to the basement are theories I had never heard of before.
HOWEVER the ransom note does not make any sense whatsoever in regards to the crime. Even as a ransom note it doesn’t make sense. It literally has quips and sarcasm like a Joss Whedon script, even with Dirty Harry quotes. It does not make any sense at all in the slightest in regards to the crime committed.

The ransom note 100% was written by Patsy. The words used are how a woman writes. In my opinion, there is no way the brother could hid he killed her being that young with all the interviews he had with doctors. He would have let something slip during those interrogations.
I'm in the camp the mom did it because she snapped over Jon Benet soiling herself, this was a constant issue with her, or the dad did it to keep Jon Benet quiet about the sexual abuse happening. There is confirmation that her genital area had signs that were consistent with sexual abuse. This would also explain the soiling and peeing that she was going through. That's a common sign when children are abused

But what about the unknown male DNA found on her underwear? That’s another curveball that I can’t explain other than a third party (which is consistent with the other little girl that was home invaded and almost SA’d until thankfully the mother pepper sprayed the perp)

My theory is the parents (sickos) were pimping her out to pedophiles to cover the costs of all her pageants. One of them snapped, killed the girl, and the parents covered it up to not incriminate thenselves for their role.

It was a new pack of underwear that had just been opened if I'm remembering correctly . I mean that could have come from the people who packaged it up or anyone at the factory that made them

What? You realize they were rich as hell right?
I have been intrigued by this but starting to just let it go. It's very difficult with the circumstances being so utterly bizarre.
The intruder makes no sense all things considered. The amount of risk to do all that with 3 people in the house, even if it was a huge house is absurdly high.
Plus a taser is a pretty violent way to "stun" anyone, let alone a child, in silence. None of it really makes any sense besides something crazy happening within the family and them spending hours to cover it up.
I can't get over the mother wearing the same clothes from the night before when she claims she got up, made coffee and found the note etc.
They were wealthy, uppity type of people. You're telling me that woman went to bed with her clothes from the party the night before, woke up again, put the same clothes on to start the day?
Someone intruded and spent the time to write a 3 page note, all the while leaving the note when the body was still in the house, on an evening during the holidays when people are up, doing weird things for travel etc.
And as much as I lean towards something happening with Burke, I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe he wouldn't have said something like "we got in a fight" or "she stole my toy" during numerous police interviews alone as a 9 year old.
Also the fact that they were so willing to just send him over to a friends house and let him out of their sight if they truly believe there was an intruder on the loose is pretty absurd.
But I also get all messed up about the other recent intrusion where the mother pepper sprayed the intruder away. That's an insane coincidence in such a small place like Boulder.
And the audacity for the father to continue to stay in the press the way he has if he knew it was within the family and he could just slip away into history is also hard to explain.
Absolutely bizarre case that we will unfortunately never know the truth.

Also, as big as the house was, how do you not go into every single room when looking for her? Even if there's a note saying she's kidnapped.
You know there is a weird, secluded room with a door in the basement and you don't simply open that door until 1pm later that day?

Rich as hell people can still have money problems.
Even without the money aspect though, I think it was a third party that committed the crime and the parents covered it up to not incriminate themselves in something larger.
Or the brother did it and somehow never cracked during interviews.

This case would’ve been solved if TD was alive and well in the 90s.

They specifically investigated the factory in China, looking for a white, male employee who would be a DNA match.

Patsy killed her in a fit of rage.

This was addressed in the doc and it’s pretty obvious the guy who made these claims was full of shite lol.
