You just gotta save your chips and buy 6-7 mercenaries every year. NIL, portal, and fickle kids have made HS recruiting a fools errand.

You’re right. Nowadays you got to pay but it’s only half the pie. Watching the pro league you see highly paid stars but great coaching is still needed. Look at Andy Reid Mike tomlin etc

Coaching isn’t as important in college as the NFL. It’s important but the main factor is talent acquisition.
Miles with LSU talent…prettty good. Mikes with KU talent…not so much.
