I wish we would have rolled with him instead or Carr.
Then draft you a future QB and develop him.

We would have if he wouldn't have been awful for two straight yrs.
Everyone forgets the turnovers and terrible throws. SP had Jameis for what 2 yrs and rolled out.
Yesterday was a typical Jameis game, multiple throws that weren't picked off, should have had minimum 2 ints possibly 4. And almost 400 empty yards for a loss.
Carr isn't the answer and wouldn't be here if Jameis wasn't awful. Andy Dalton beat him out and they called it an injury, we all sat in the Dome and watched the Bucs pick off pass after pass with our wrs running wide open.
Our fanbase forgets so much sometimes, like crowning Bobby the founder of Who Dat Nation after doing the airplane in the Dome for the Falcons

Jamies looked good his one year starting under SP as coach, but he got hurt in week 5 or 6 and missed the rest of the season.
We weee something like 4-2, then tanked after he got hurt.

Winston punked DA. He showed the Saints fan base, the players, and the NFL that DA lacked intestinal fortitude.
Saints management was very slow in either admitting or recognizing that DA was not head coaching material.
Winston’s act of defiance got him canned from any further Saints consideration. But, I am grateful to him for setting in motion the eventual end of the DA era.

I really can't think of any other former Saints QB that I wish was still a Saint and also wish that he was doing great things for the Saints.
That brief period of time before he was injured during that TB Bucs game was so filled with hope.

I will say he was a model team player while he was here until he punked DA, which I’m grateful for.
