Not soon enough. I think we'll at least need:
1 good IOL
1-2 high level Safeties (depending on how good Spears/ Jackson are)
1-2 high level WR
Possibly a TE, depending on what happens with Taylor. We need at least one that can block and it doesn't sound like Green and Pimpton can play that role.
Possibly a QB, depending on how everything shakes up. If Nuss leaves, do we want Underwood starting year 1?

You bet your sweet arse you do. He’s arguably the best QB prospect out of HS in the last 20 years. If Nuss leaves, you hand that kid the keys and build for a natty in 26 and 27, hope you can land the Dunham kid as backup and then keep the train rolling.

He’s the number #1 QB in the nation but no one has said he’s the best QB prospect in the last 20 years. 5 years, yes. Not considered a letter prospect than Lawerence. Take a breath and don’t saddle this kid with expectations that only a Heisman can fulfill.

Too late. We've already ordained him. That said, there are still scouts that believe Justin Fields was a better prospect than Lawrence. Same as many believed Leaf was better than Manning. Like Rivals believes Tavien St Clair is better than Underwood. Lawrence nor Fields are the "generational" guys everyone thought they were.
I do agree with you but I expect a title(not really as long as we have Kelly and/or Sloan)) and don't care about the Heisman. Most of those are empty wins.

Do you realize the level of stupidity you are dealing with? You will hear constantly that he needs to start because he's a Heisman contender. And as soon as he throws his first interception he will be labeled a bust.
