1. Joe Sloan is an elite qb developer/coach. He isn't and shouldn't be the offensive coordinator moving forward
2. Nuss is a good qb he is suffering from lack of running game and play development(sloan)
3. Lsu has talent on the offensive line. But dj Chester is not developing at the center position and #65 mubenga is just not ready. Teams are loading 3 defensive lineman over Chester and mubenga and are winning that match up currently.(Brad davis)
4. The tight ends are not being utilized properly as they should(Sloan and nagle)
5.lsu really does not have a challenge deep at wr so teams know they don't have to ever play 2 deep or 1 deep.(Sloan and hankton)
6. The lsu defensive staff is fine they just do not have the players to execute.
7. Brian Kelly should and needs to hire a special teams coach. Go get Greg McMahon who is right up the road and pay him top money and get out the way.

You are going to be real disappointed when the next OC can’t do anything either due to poor O line play.

Sloan can’t call anything to the left of Center. Everything left gets blown up.

I can't disagree with this, but do you demote him or fire him?

Inconsistency is a killer at the position. It was workable when he wasn't turning the ball over. This argument is weaker now that we've seen the team run the ball well.

The tackles are pass protection specialists with a penchant for false starts. The interior linemen (minus Delly) just aren't very good.

Probably true, but Taylor hasn't shown much as a blocker. Maybe LSU has leaned too far into pass catching TEs and haven't developed blockers or all around ones?

Probably true. Maybe a broader roster management problem as well. On the other hand, the WRs are also streaky. A streaky/inconsistent QB with streaky/inconsistent WRs is a recipe for disaster.

I generally agree with all of this. The tackling should be better and that is probably the staff's biggest failing. Preparation for running QBs is #2. If they just cleaned those 2 things up, the defense would look a lot better, IMHO.

Folks complained about McMahon the entire time he was here, last time. Since he "retired", he's been at the USFL, XFL and Tulane. Why is he "the guy"?

I’ll ask again

Is he really an elite QB developer/coach, or was Jayden Daniels so good it fooled people into thinking Sloan was good?

Who else has Sloan developed?

6. LSU’s defensive talent is #15 in the SEC. Other than still to be seen true freshmen, not a 2-day NFL pick playing now

Swanson is a day 2 pick. And maybe even Alexander.
