Your rookie sensation is having the best game of his career, your best player can’t be stopped without a double team, your defense is playing great. Then we just run no offense in the 4th quarter, no ball movement, no screens, just dribble around at the top. Add to that we have a lead and are clearly so exhausted AD and Joel are calling it out and we don’t call a timeout. The coup de grace is up 2 with under 40s and we just dribble out the clock and seemingly don’t attempt to score.

This one hurt because it’s a game you had won if you just execute basic things in the last 5 minutes of the game. In fact with basic execution you could’ve put this game away and won by 8-12 pts, but instead we just stop running offense, wear ourselves out, and lose

I'm not kidding when I say my high school team runs a better offense at crunch time. It's sickening to watch the Pelicans dribble dribble shoot.

We didn't run an offense in the first 3 quarters either... Teams know that you just have to hang with us until the 4th, and then play a little bit harder on defense and we'll fold like an accordion

Willie Green, every season. He has not changed a bit. Worst game-day coach in the league.
