New bow

Thought about that, but not real sure what to look for. I’d like one 3-4 years old and not sure I want a Matthews or Hoyt yet

Go to an archery shop and shoot some. See what you like.

All the flagship bows are awesome these days.

It’s all a function of how much u want to spend.

Agree on above comment. Arrows, sights, etc all add up and $$& and might make more of a difference in some cases than the bow itself.

If you can afford it and are in it for the long haul, I would get a new flagship bow , set it up right , buy once and cry once. They can last a long time.

If you’re not sure if you want to do that for any reason, I would buy a used bow from the last few years that’s easily adjustable without a press. I believe most of the elite’s and bowtechs and maybe some others fall into this category. This way you can get a used bow and still relatively easily and cheaply get it to fit you well.

You can’t go wrong with either of the Mathews or Hoyt flagship bows.

I pulled the trigger on a RX8 Ultra and love it. But I will also shoot it for a decade so I didn’t mind spending the money.

Find a bow shop or someone you know to help you, getting fitted right is a big key to being consistent.

Draw length, anchor point etc etc will help you perform better in the field.
