Baton Rouge Mayor's Race

Sharon Weston-Broome and Sid Edwards are headed for a runoff for the Baton Rouge Mayor's race. Does anyone feel like neither of these candidates are fit for the role? How can we justify an old white fella to unite the city and rally the troops? Hopefully we are not headed to another disastrous term with Broome. Prayers

Judging by what Ms Broome has done, I don’t think the qualification bar is very high.

I never said he wasn’t qualified. I said being a coach and having people from both races like you doesn’t mean your qualified. I’ve known plenty of nice people that I would say were not qualified to be a mayor.
