I don't think you are going to have a 1 and 3 tech DT anymore... Chavis lines the DL in lots of different looks (G, Bear, Trad 4-3, etc.)

I'm not too familiar with what he will bring so I just list them like we have been recently.

one tech - shading the shoulder of the center. that means your head lined up on the shoulder of the center.

3 tech - your head on the inside shoulder of the gaurd.

2 tech - would be in the gap between the two

You don't remember how we used Perrilloux in 2007 or Hatch this past year (when Lee took over)? Shepard will fill that role and take hits away from Jefferson. I would fully expect Lee to take over as the starter and Shepard to still be the running QB if Jefferson were to be injured, that is, if Lee is still with the team next year.

Not many Juniors next year. We're going to be stacked in 2010!

Here's who I think will start:

Quarterback- Jordan Jefferson with Jarrett Lee as back up and Russell Shepard in some situations.

Runningback - if Charles Scott returns, nothing changes, but if he leaves then Keiland Williams, Richard Murphy and Stevan Ridley get the majority of the carries.

Fullback - I'd love to see Charles Scott get more carries at FB, and without a true FB next year we may see more of this (also possible with Ridley at FB).

Wide Receiver - if Brandon LaFell returns it's LaFell and Terrance Toliver with Chris and Jared Mitchell getting most of the back-up minutes. I'd like to see R.J. Jackson and Ricky Dixon get more time, too. And of course Randall and Benton will see time if they are on campus.

Tight End - Richard Dickson, enough said.

Left Tackle - Ciron Black, if he stays, Barksdale if he doesn't.

Left Guard - Ernest McCoy.

Center - Lyle Hitt.

Right Guard - Will Blackwell.

Right Tackle - Joseph Barksdale (or Dworacyk if Black leaves)

Defensive Tackle 1-Tech - Al Woods.

Defensive Tackle 3-Tech - Drake Nevis.

Defensive End Big - Sidell Corley with Levingston getting time at both DE and DT on passing downs.

Defensive End Small - Rahim Alem.

Linebacker Strongside - Perry Riley.

Linebacker Middle - Jacob Cutrera (and I hope to see some of Theriot here as well).

Linebacker Weakside - Ryan Baker (with some time for Shomari Clemons).

Cornerback - Patrick Peterson and Ron Brooks (with Jai Eugene and Phelon Jones getting time).

Free Safety - Chad Jones followed by Danny McCray.

Strong Safety - Harry Coleman and Chad Jones.

(Hatcher, Loston and Francois should see time as well)
