Rewatching the De Laurentis/Russian classic with Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer in the lead roles and has me interested in reading on Bonaparte 's campaigns and Waterloo, in particular. Any suggestions?

Try The Napoleonic Wars by Alexander Mikaberidze. That seems like it would fit what you are looking for.

The Campaigns of Napoleon by David Chandler is considered to be the most complete biography focusing on his military campaigns.

This.
I have the book and its an exhaustive study of every single campaign/battle he ever fought. It's almost 1,200 pages in length.

Bernard Cornwell, who wrote among other books the Richard Sharpe series, wrote a very readable nonfiction book about the Battle of Waterloo. I highly recommend it.

If you like historical fiction, Bernard Cornwell is a gifted storyteller. He knows how to move a story along. His Sharpe series is a lot of fun.
Allan Mallinson wrote the Matthew Harvey series about a cavalry officer during the Napoleonic Wars and I can recommend that too.
