Apparently DJ Pickett no showed the Miami game last night

I have a friend who played for Miami, he said he was told that Dj had homecoming and Dad said he wanted to participate. Apparently he will be a miami this weekend

Homecoming don’t just pop up. They been knowing it was homecoming.

Yea I actually heard the same thing in terms of his homecoming popping up after I did more research. That said, someone else mad a great point he prob knew about homecoming for a while I still think him no showing is a great sign for us that he’s locked into his commitment

Eh. I wouldn’t read too much into the homecoming thing. He’s still a high school kid. He might have had no intention of going to homecoming and then some girl he is trying to get with wanted to go with him. Or some of his friends talked him into going.

We need to stop dissecting every thing DJ does. He said he’s going to be at their games - his cousin plays there and there’s plenty of family connections. He chose CRay and LSU for a reason. Let the kid have fun and we’ll see him in 2 weeks when he’s back for the Bama game.

Agreed, he also posted a countdown for when he is moving from Florida to Louisiana. I think he is pretty locked in

Conflicting info on this one. Gaby and a couple others said he was a no show but another “insider” said it was a secret visit and he arrived late and left early to avoid publicity.

And guess what. He’s not visiting again this weekend like originally reported. So I would say Homecoming was just an excuse.

Wait fr ? That’s major cause all I heard from Miami fans after he no showed was the homecoming excuse and how he’ll be there for the Duke game.If thats not the case esp since he’ll most likely be in Death Valley next week it’s basically a done deal

Yes. Won’t post it because it’s premium content but that’s coming from the Miami side. As of this morning, he’s not expected in.

Fascinating. Between him doin a countdown to LSU post on his IG story Sunday to him deciding not to show up for the Miami game it’s looking clearer and clearer that Miami is not a serious player to flip Pickett from us
