Jimmy Page was on guitar for Joe Cocker's version of "With a Little Help From My Friends".

Just read that today and was surprised to find out. However, now knowing that and listening to the tune, you can definitely tell it was Page. It sounds like his tone on Dazed and Confused.

There are some crazy guest guitarists on songs that you would never imagine but once you know it, you hear it and it's unmistakable.
It was mentioned on the board a while back that Joe Walsh plays on the Wilson Phillips song Hold On.
Another one that surprised me, and I learned this from one of the DJs on SXM, is that an at the time unknown guitarist named Stevie Ray Vaughan plays on David Bowie's Let's Dance.

That was the first most people had ever heard SRV. Before that, he was a rumor.

He also plays solos on Dirty Laundry, not that that is a huge leap, since its a Henley tune. You can definitely hear Walsh's tone on it.

Yep. And Joe trades solos with Steve Lukather on that one too. Great 80s track!
