Ranking the World Series since last time Dodgers and Yanks met…

This is merely my attempt. Flame away.
1. 2016-Chicago d Cleveland - this one still hurts, but an extra inning Game 7 with a rain delay that halted Indians momentum and ending a curse is tough to top. The Rajai Davis homer is still one of the most epic in WS history, and it came in a loss.
2. 1986: Mets d Red Sox - we all know this story and the incredible Game 6
3. 2001: DBacks d Yankees - Arizona rode the arms of the series MVPs and overcame a clutch Soriano homer to beat the best closer in baseball history.
4. 1991: Twins d Braves - the matchup wasn’t sexy, but between Puckett’s heroics and the pitching duel in Game 7, this is an all timer.
5. Florida d Cleveland - another one that hurts. Cleveland is the only team to lose two extra inning Game 7s.
6. 2017: Houston d Los Angeles - the only thing keeping this one lower for me is the negative pub and a dud Game 7.
7. 2011: St. Louis d Texas - one strike away
8. 2019: Washington d Houston - a wild series with road teams winning each game. Howie Kendrick’s Game 7 homer seems forgotten.
9. 2002: Anaheim d San Francisco - this seems like a forgotten classic in the modern era. The Giants blew Game 6 and the Rally Monkey lived on.
10. 1985: Kansas City d St. Louis - the rare Missouri showdown…this one peaked in Game 6.
11. 2014: San Francisco d Kansas City - Royals were 90 feet away from forcing extras in Game 7. Next year was the ultimate tale of redemption.
12. 1982: St. Louis d Milwaukee - Suds Series
13. 1987: Minnesota d St. Louis - doesn’t seem to have that “moment” that any other ones listed have
14. 1993: Toronto d Philadelphia - the only 6 gamer that competes IMO

5 one run games and it went to 7. Pins and needles on every pitch even if you weren't a fan of either. It was the epitome of what playoff baseball can be.

Without that ‘91 WS, I’m not sure I would’ve been a huge baseball fan

I think top 4 could be in any order

I may be biased as a Twins fan, but I think 1991 and 2001 are by far the two best WS in my lifetime.

That series still pisses me off. Dodgers blew it in game 2.
I agree that 91 and 01 were freaking incredible.
