Has anybody used LA Capitol Federal Credit Union for Mortgage?

They are offering a great rate for mortgage right now 5.625 if you put down 25%. My bank lender from previous mortgage said they cannot match that rate or even come close (6.5%).
The service all loans that they get and do not sell them
What are the cons of going with a credit union over a bank?
Anyone have any experience with this company or have issues closing or paying their loan?

I’ve owned a few homes through a La Cap mortgage over the years. Never had any issues and the rates can’t be beat. Don’t know of any cons and not sure why more people don’t use them tbh.

Absolutely no reason not to do business with them
