Drafting well cam always get you out of cap hell. Worst case scenario, you can pair a bad contract with a legit rookie or second year player on a rookie deal and trade to get money off the books.

Just drafting alone and keeping the players picked can get you out of cap hell. It’s why keeping Foskey and Turner on the surface is a good idea. The problem was paying Jordan and now Chase who alarmingly get more snaps than the draft picks.
If you’re going to suck, suck all the way and quit signing vets that aren’t going to help anyway.
