Saints need to focus building this OL up. There are A LOT of options this coming draft. 3 from Texas alone in the first round and maybe another in the 2nd. We need to get this line back up and let this dead money get out of the way. Manning ain't going to the draft after next year, he'll start at least 2 years and possibly play 3. If he gets 25+ starts, he'll have an amazing career.

Same reason why guys like Jamarcus, Winston, Evan Wilson etc.. went number one and two. GMs don’t know shite….

You are really comparing a QB with 43 collegiate starts to one with 2? Manning also happens to be a redshirt freshman and qb2 until next year..

Yeah, both Peyton and Eli stayed 4 years. They’re thinking long-term success, not the quick pay day. He’ll come back for the ‘26 season for sure unless he just goes crazy next year and is the consensus overall #1. May come back anyway, but at that point risk of injury has to play a factor in the decision.
