Best course on Disney property in Florida?

We are Taking my daughter in December and my FIL wants to play one morning. I’ve been a few times, but I’ve never played golf there. So for only one round, what’s the best course to play?
Appreciate any suggestions!

I’ve played both Palm and Magnolia. Been years though, supposed to have been redone since I played there. Both were in great shape, both were a good challenge.

Palm and Magnolia are both solid. I would lean toward Magnolia, but it’s a toss up.
I prefer the Waldorf course over both of them, though. Technically it’s in Disney World.

Play Lake Buena Vista.. it was in incredible shape this past summer..
Almost played this one but had to cancel due to a scheduling issue.. Played Hawks Landing instead..

Just went - highly recommend Southern dunes and Orange County National.
The Disney courses are nice, but overpriced compared to these two. And FYI, if there is any rain, the Disney courses do NOT drain well.

I’ll be playing the walkable 9 hole course next week. I forget what it’s called but it’s included in our package.
Also staying at Omni which has a few courses on it including a night time 9 hole par 3 course. Pretty pumped to play that one

Crooked Cat - Panther lake was being punched at the time (about 3 weeks ago)
From what I understand, Crooked Cat is more forgiving off the tee

I'm not sure they have Magnolia back to 18 holes. My least favorite of the 3 Disney courses. I'd play Lake Buena Vista (LBV) if I could. Palm is next best.
Disney courses are waaaay over priced and over valued. $165 is too much. Waldorf is right there too, but $185 is a bit steep for me. If you have to pay those prices, Waldorf is the best bang for your buck.
I agree with other poster. Southern Dunes, Orange County National (Panther and Crooked Cat) are way better. Other courses in the Disney area are Reunion Resort (3 courses), Champions Gate (2 courses), Celebration and Providence. Falcon's Fire is one of my favorite layouts, but it has not been in good shape of late.
Mostly depends on the time you have and your budget. Winter rates will be in effect, so you will pay premium prices.

Gotcha, yeah I haven't played the Crooked Cat but I did play Panther and it was not an easy course by any means.. I'd like to give Crooked a shot whenever I return..

They’re both such fun courses.
I’m pretty snobby and you can’t beat both of those for the cost and they’ll both give you everything you want. Two totally different looks and each have a handful of great, great holes.

Champions Gate & Celebration
Have not played in a while but heard that they are looking really good. LSU Orlandeaux had our Golf Tournament there for a while, now it's over at Celebration. Celebration is in pretty good shape, just really wet as we have had a LOT of rain and it dos not drain well.
