Something cool to do in New England area weekend of Nov 21?

Company Christmas party near Atlantic City on Friday, and trying to make it worth the trip. Willing to drive or fly, but obviously closer is better, as will need to fly out on Monday.
Any ideas other than NYC? We like NYC, just looking for something different.

You are 3 hours away from just the beginning of New England, more to get to the heart of it. Philly is only an hour from AC though.

Philly can be a a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy history, but also not the safest of places. I don't have a ton of insight as to where to stay, sorry.

It looks like both the Sixers and the Flyers have home games that weekend too.
