Seems like 23 pts is too much of a line. Not worried about Offense but D needs to step up early and shut them down

Lines don’t matter once the ball is kicked.
USA has no defense. They got absolutely smoked by UNT and Ohio doesn’t have a high-powered offense, but still beat them. App St is just not what they usually are this season. LSU is going to rack up huge passing yards on this defense and hit some big plays. Once that happens, the run will really open up.
Yes, USA is going to move the ball a lot, especially between the 20s. They are going to score some points. We may not cover the spread. But as long as we avoid turnovers (which haven’t been a major issue so far this season), they aren’t going to have a shot to win this game. The defense just needs to get some of its stops and turnovers in the first half to put some distance on them. Then they will have to start pressing and fold, just like UCLA did.

They lost to north Texas and Ohio. If you have a bad falling about this game you may want to head to the woods with no internet before the next game.
