Tech fans kept razzing LSU fans about how they only attend a "State School" (I guess they couldn't talk about anything that was game related). The funny part about this is that Tech Fans don't realize that Tech is also a "State School" and not a private university.

Walking out of the dome a Tech fan told his friend, regardless of the score, I still had a good time (this reflects the difference in the attitude about football between the LSU and Tech programs).

And finally, listening to the Tech Station after the game, the Tech game announcer said that the beating Tech took in the dome is probably a good thing, otherwise expectations for Tech next year would be really high...

The G.T fan I sat beside said after a TD we slapped everyone's hand around us as he was the only one not to get a high five and only G.T fan.

(G.T. Fan) "Man you guys are really sticking it to us.

(ME)"Yeah, I know man this is awesome, we've never laid it to a team like this all year"

(G.T. Fan) "Yeh, I'm only here with my dad, I went to GT for my first 2 years, now I'm at Bama so this game doesn't really matter. I mean this is the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, who really cares anyways. We still beat y'all in Baton Rouge and playing in the Sugar bowl, and just wait till Saban gets all his players."

(ME) "Yeah well that's ok we (LSU) gave y'all that game, y'all were lucky to escape" "But, my friend I go to ULM and we did beat you at your home field also."

He smirked after his second defeat and him and his dad left. Me and the other LSU fans celebrated proudly in victory.

*Top of the line Douche bags.. Thought they were better than everyone around them, wore blue blazers with, khaki pants, button up shirt. Keep whispering in each others ear then laughing. Finally, keep smirking at every LSU fan for basically wearing LSU gear to support their team.

All I heard from the Tech Fans was how we sucked and they would say "Atleast we beat Georgia", I would just be like we just beat you by 35.

I had a Georgia Tech fan sitting next to me who was a giant douche. He had a brand new leather jacket that he thought was just awesome; several times during the game he turned to face the crowd behind us and yelled "go Jackets" while lifting up the shoulders of his leather jacket. "Hey look at me; I've got this amazing jacket".

He also had to go find his girlfriend at the start of the game because she was too drunk to find the seat even though she had her ticket. She was passed out during the whole game and he stayed until the clock hit 0:00.

Hey. Do you blame her? What better way to go to a game when your arse is getting whipped by five TD's.lol

Leaving the game I heard two old goats going on about "It'd be different if it was a good team". WTF? What, a good team would have beaten them by 17 TDs? That's up there with the "Overrated" chant.

I had a father and son throw cups of ice at the LSU bench in the 4th qtr with about 8 minutes left. He was quickly harassed by LSU fans and then escorted out by the Georgia Trooper in the area.

i did see plenty of tech fans dressed in fancy clothes and looked like they thought they were better than us,but i did sit next to a very cool tech fan. He didnt act like he was better for going to tech, heck he even gave me high fives when we scored cause he was just there to have fun and see a good team play.

Well,Tulane has never won MNC's in fb,played in two Final Fours, been to the CWS 3 times, won a NC in womens tennis, had a strong golf team, had a VB team reach the sweet sixteen.Tech does all this on an urban down campus, with tough academic requirements. To the average sidewalk UGAG or SEC fan this may not matter. But to many Tech fans, those are points of pride.....
