Anyone know why Wednesday's show was cancelled? I guessing lack of advance ticket sales.

Ha, I was one of the idiots that bought advance tickets.
Probably doesn't help that the Melvins play here every couple of years.

Melvins draw decent crowds in BR. Varsity did a poor job advertising this. I saw Trevor Dunn with The Melvins at the Spanish Moon and it was amazing.

The varsity is half assing shows they put on there. It’s sad because it’s a great venue. Marketing is terrible. Booking is lackluster. Just a poorly run venue these days. They can’t compete with Chelsea’s bookings.

What happened to the Varsity? They use to consistently book great bands. I rarely see anything worth going to now.
