I am tired of USC saying they are getting cheated, when they were ranked like number 4 or 5.Pete needs to grow up.

Agree, and afterall they beat Penn State whoopee and which conference is Penn State part of.....the Little 10+1. Yes their lower to mid level temas win a few games against other conferences but overall the teams who are at the top of their conference can't compete with the top teams of other conferences. They just can't

Pete might have a point. There's no proof that either Oklahoma or Florida is better than USC.
Mack Brown has a similar argument. We don't know whether or not Texas is better than Florida or Oklahoma.
Oh wait...
The BCS, fun as it is to put in your "resume" every year, is flawed.

i saw the pete's post game interview and he said nothing about getting "cheated". he just said that he can beat anyone in the country. you disagree with that?

They start the same ole shite every year. That's why everyone is getting sick of USC.

USC won the Rose Bowl 3x in a row, but they always play a weak Big 10 team. The announcers were saying what about an extra game with USC playing the OU/Florida winner. What about Texas and Bama that are in front of USC? Screw ABC/ESPN football commentators..., they're just talking heads given a script.

First of all, USC did not beat either the number one OR number two team in the Country. They didn't play either of them. They played Penn St., who is not in the top 2. Beating the number 3 or 4 or 5 team in the Country does not entitle you to a national championship.
That being said, every single team has the same challenge at the beginning of the year.....beat the teams you are supposed to beat and get to the big show. The reason USC never plays a top caliber SEC team is because they can never make it through their powder puff conference schedule unscathed. They always lose one to some shitty team, and then the media pundits call it a "hiccup"....or say that they took a game off as though this is an excuse.
Arguably, lots of teams take "days off"....or have "off games". When that happens, you have to look at who beat them, and how tough the gauntlet was that they had to walk to get to the end of the year.
Everybody else has this same task. OK lost to Texas. Maybe OK took a day off. Texas lost to Texas Tech....maybe they took a day off....but you don't hear anybody screaming that they should be the split national champions.(well...not as loudly as ESPN/Mushberger for USC)
USC needs to have one year where they don't take their perennial "Day off", and then they might get the chance to play a Florida or an LSU...who few can argue have more difficult conference schedules.
My point: If you want to whine about NC's, then win your fricking games and get to the championship. If you must play in a weak arse conference (and no, this is not their fault, as they are always good), then you shouldn't be afforded a "day off". Your "days off" consist of the shitbirds you play in your own conference.
I don't think USC could beat Florida this year.
What is really funny is how the announcers completely wrote off what Penn St. did to the vaunted USC defense in the second half of that game last night. They claimed that they were not as "fired up". Are you fricking kidding me? They got shred. Penn St. played a horrible first half. What USC saw in the second half is what Florida would do the entire game. Florida doesn't take "halfs off"....which is why they are where they are. (Yes, I know they lost to Ole Miss....who turned out to be pretty good. But, they also played multiple teams with pulses, including an undefeated Alabama, which is the difference between them and USC.)
So, either win your games, or shut the frick up. Just my 2 cents.
