OM got FDA approval a few months ago for a home dialysis machine. About a month or two later their earnings report came out and it was bad… but it would be expected to be bad because the approval hadnt had time to influence earnings. It tanked from 3.50 to .47. (Last year it was $24)
Am i wrong to think once their earnings benefit from this latest approval the price will boomerang? The AKBA thread reminded me of this scenario. And id think they’ll eventually get back to a decent share price. Any pharmaceutical guys on here have any thoughts?

Paging bayou bengal!
I told myself I would wait on investing in another Pharm company after AUPH and AKBA. But AKBA has me feeling so good that I wouldn't mind tying up my money for 4 years with another one!

It looks like their cash position is their biggest problem which means they could need a cash injection into the company to get into production. Is a buyout likely or possible in this situation?
I don't want to hijack your thread, but I also have a question in reading through their Q2 earnings report transcript. I work for a public company also, and the thing I see in common is they are very "optimistic" regardless if the company is doing well or not. I would assume that's natural instinct to not go in front of investors and say the world is on fire and the fire extinguishers are empty. But, what are you supposed to pay attention to with a company like OM here? They missed their earnings by 10% last quarter. To my uneducated eye, that's bad news, but doesn't seem like it should tank the stock from $3.50 to $.50 a share.
I kinda like the play here. They're in the delisting range now, and I got some money with a high risk tolerance freed up, so I might throw some at it just out of curiosity.

There is a class action lawsuit being filed against them.
They were making false and/ or misleading statements that their Tablo products were marketed for continuous renal replacement therapy, this was an indication they were not approved for by the FDA.

God bless you!
I’m out of the pharma game. May revisit AKBA or AUPH but maybe not!
