Regarding fake punt late in game

Tulane is a pathetic football program...

The fact it is being discussed so much though? That fake field goal was GT only problem last night? GT did not play a good game and instead of ripping their team a coaching staff apart people are focused on the fake punt as if that was the game changing performance. Get over it already, no points were scored off of it, more time came off the clock and GT got pinned inside the 20 all the things you try and do when you are leading a game.

But it didnt happen that way did it. Miles and LSU had a lot to prove last night. Had LSU been ranked in the top 10 i doubt the fake punt ever happens. If you dont like it, then stop it.

IF I were a GT supporter, I'd be much more concerned about Johnson's dumbass decision to call a horrible fake punt inside their own 30.

Seems like Tulane pulled a fake fieldgoal on LSU in 1981 while up 45 to 3? I was pissed at LSU for not stopping it not Tulane for rubbing it in.

It would have been unanimously condemned if the roles were reversed.

I didn't care for it nor Les's explanation for it. The only thing I can see is we were putting something on film for teams to think about next year.

Otherwise I didn't care for the call. But I'll chalk it up as a brain fart and savor the rest of the game that was great.

Running the score up because you need style points to get into the BCS NCG is acceptable. That's the only time it's acceptable.
