Has the O-Line’s performance been discussed?

I think that was the group I was most disappointed in last night. Zero push on short-yardage rushing situations. Massive gaps at times when pass-blocking. Some unforced false start penalties.

They just did not look like this overwhelming strength which I’d hoped they would be. At times they would perform well, but there was no consistency.

I don't think they were bad. Maybe not as good in running situations as you imagined. They pass blocked well

It was really hard to watch their run blocking last night.

Our TE’s can’t block for shite either.

Agreed. And we went 3 TE quite a few times last night. With those long rangy freaks, you’d think some mismatches would be created. We hit on a couple of them, but it seemed like decoy packages more often than actually utilizing the skill sets. Idk man. The whole offensive output last night just seemed…… weird.

New OC, QB, and Center doesn't help.

No push when running the ball was alarming especially since we didn't give up a single sack. I think it comes down to second half play calling. No creativity.

Im not expecting Nuss to run like Jayden or put his body on the line like Riley Leonard, but I well timed QB run is the difference in a game.

3rd & 5 QB draw vs Bama '19 sets up TD. Next drive 1st & 10 bluff QB draw and throw a slant to Chase for 25+ yards sets up winning TD...

Nope not at all. LOL

Yeah they struggled, but the play calling on run plays and the non threat of Nuss to keep and run on the RPOs was a big part of the problem.

It’s like they didn’t trust them bc they have yet to play in a big game like last night. Even though it turns out the coaches were the ones not up for the task, while the players were for the most part.
