He's clearly the 3rd(or maybe even 4th) QB, but we need the comfort of knowing he's there to be a backup. I think with him back there, we can be extremely aggressive with how we use both JJ and RS. We can more easily take advantage of their complete attributes, if we're not scared of them getting hurt.

He may be looking to transfer next year, seeing Jefferson's performance tonight. He now realizes he is a back up.

He shouldn't. He could still emerge from the spring as #1. Or #4.

i think he'll be #3 heading into the season next year, but i think it's a given that at least one QB goes down for some period of time. no way a scrambling QB is going to make it through the entire season without getting dinged up

I think Lee is the #2 QB next year. I think Shep plays in certain situations, but JL is the #2 QB for next year. Shep will play but not put him as the #2 QB. LSU will need Jarett Lee again in a critical situation and he will come through.

I think that is almost 99% likely

I really hope so. I'm certainly not counting it out.

I think he will be #4, JJ, Shep and Garrett. His confidence is shot!

Highly unlikely.

More likely.

He might be #2 going into the spring but he won't be #2 coming out of the Spring, RS will. I do agree with you though on the fact that if BOTH of our QB's get hurt, at least we do have someone on the roster who's had some playing time.

Man, I'm just really not sure RS is gonna beat Lee out for #2. He might get more snaps that are in the gameplan, but if JJ goes out, I think JLee will start the next game.

Even if JL is #4 going into the season, it's imperative that Miles instills some sort of confidence in him. Our season could easily hinge on a game he has to start in the middle of next season. He needs to think he can win.

not only that, he needs major reps and attention to his QB fundamentals and I just don't think he is going to get the wizard's attention with JJ and Shep around

the best thing after SPring would be to go to a 1-AA school like SFA or Texas State where he is the man and will get all the OC's attention because he has MAJOR QB fundamentals deficiencies that need a lot of work

Geez..... he's not going anywhere and I have yet to see the name Chris Garrett mentioned. Duh! Our QB core will be solid next season.

In no particular order:
Jordan Jefferson
Russell Shepard
Chris Garrett
Andrew Hatch
Jarrett Lee

Great win Tigers!

If nothing else the game indicated how the offense can run with a QB who has great wheels and a strong arm. JL is like a statue compared to JJ. Just an opinion, but JJ needs to easily put on 15 lbs if he is going to continue to run, even his legs are thin. RS, even more thin. I was a little disappointed that JL got zero playing time in the second half, he might have enjoyed playing with a lead.

On another thought, is Murphy an SEC caliber back? From what I have seen, I just don't see him being productive unless he is a slot receiver.

I don't believe so. Scott and Ridley should be getting most of the carries next year. Unless Keiland gets a testicles transplant.

Yes, we can use him to hold PAT snaps.
