Game week presser CBK made a comment about Nuss thinking he has 52 timeouts. We saw that backfire on him. When lacy had the illegal shift, Nuss was literally about to call a timeout but decided to run the play anyway. I wonder if that wasn’t in his head if he calls the timeout there because it was definitely the right thing to do. He played well last night but hasn’t scratched the surface of what he is capable of. Right now coaches are hamstringing him. Let him prove if he is that guy or not. Let the players decide the outcome.

How do you know what they did or did not tell him? Maybe Nuss was being a better version of himself and forgot what he needed to do in the second half.

100 percent agree. We didn’t use “any” of our second half timeouts. They don’t roll over. That would have been a nice TO call in a crucial situation.
