Ok. Not a great description but I have a 2016 Minnkota Ulterra Riptide 24v 80# on my boat. Does anyone have a good connection recommendation from motor to batteries? Maybe its just a splice but does a quick connect exist that works?

I have had bad luck with “waterproof “ connectors only to have them fail and give me grief running the TM. My motor acts up when the amperage is low
Thanks

I use the battery tender connection, every OEM should use them on their boats, it is the best connection I have ever seen

Same here, best connection out there. Also make sure you are using appropriate gauge wire.

My son wires up a lot of boats, he was always a battery tender guy but he has changed over to the new style MK plugs, much better than they were before. He pretty much works on 100% saltwater boats btw. The blank to cover plug when not in use is nice, the rubber one on the BT never stays in for me so it's exposed to the elements when not plugged in.

Yeah that’s the one. I store my Terrova in my shed when on trailer and I second your comment on the screw on cap bonus.

I have a skiff with a surface deck mounted connection and quick release TM. The MKR-28 shown is by far the best product on the market for that type application.

Forklift Plugs

Mine lasted a few years and we're still going strong when I sold my boat.

The Battery Tender is the only one I will every use. 7 years and over 1,500 hours on the trolling motor with zero issues.
